The RI Connect Youth Center brings together young people from the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County through a variety of educational, informational, and counseling activities aimed at strengthening their personal and professional capacities while reducing the risk of poverty and social exclusion.

The activities of the RI Connect Youth Center are divided into four thematic cycles, each consisting of a wide range of workshops and educational programs:

1. I Know Knowledge – a non-formal education program focused on developing relevant knowledge, skills, and attitudes among young people
2. Give Me Info and Advice! – an information and counseling program for young people from Primorje-Gorski Kotar County
3. Free Time – activities focused on organizing quality leisure time
4. Activate Yourself! – activities aimed at supporting youth initiatives within the community and encouraging young people to actively participate in society

In an environment free from spatial, social, gender, and other barriers, such as the one fostered by the RI Connect Youth Center, young people are encouraged to connect with one another, socialize, learn effective communication, and provide and receive support in acquiring knowledge and skills (peer support). They are socially empowered and motivated to reflect on the position of young people within the community and to improve it through their own engagement. By implementing activities grounded in these values and ideas, the project continues to enhance the quality of life of young people in the local community. The project also strengthens the capacities of youth workers in order to improve the quality of youth work in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.

In 2024, the RI Connect Youth Center project includes the Delta Association and the City of Rijeka as project partners.

The RI connect Youth Center programs are financially supported by the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth, the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and the City of Rijeka.
