About the project
The Be++ project was developed with the aim of enabling children and young people from the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County to become familiar with the fields of information and communication sciences and STEM through non-formal education activities and to develop and improve their knowledge and skills in those areas, in accordance with their interests and abilities.
Project participants prepare annually for school, county and state competitions in mathematics and informatics, as well as for various programming competitions, where they regularly achieve excellent results and win numerous awards.
Many activities are carried out as a part of the project, including programming, robotics, 3D modeling and advanced mathematics workshops, STE(A)M workshops for children, multi-day camps, activities marking international days/weeks and campaigns that promote the use of IT, technical and STEM subjects and popularization activities such as STEM picnics intended to strengthen citizens’ interest for the field of STEM.
